Do something funny for money 2009
Red Nose Day events went very well raising £211.15 for Comic Relief. I have ordered a large cheque from Barclay so that we can get a great photo opportunity for the young people this Friday. I have made certificates for all of the young people who took part and raised money through the sponsored bounce. Chris, Sophie, Yasmin and Phoebe- well done!!!!!! The cakes that they all made on Friday 6th made £25 for comic relief - thanks to Tommy, Connor, Harry and Jade for kindly organising that. Thank you to Sharon Davy for her contribution too. See the photos!

Sponsored Swimarathon
Congratulations to Louis Willaims, Manny Fatona, Connor Allum and Harry Taylor and Lewis Hollings for swimming 93.5 lengths in the Lions Swim Marathon raising funds for Riding for the Disabled and CLIC SERGENT. It was a great day and even better knowing that the young people had put everything into this competition - well done boys!
This weekend has been spent arranging funding for the wonderful activities inspired by young people for the next few months. There are many opportunities for young people to gain new skills and take part in activities and experiences that will stay with them forever.
The young people who attend Chailey youth group really have been a pleasure to work with, they are nearly almost always polite, helpful and not like the stereotypical view that the media paints... which is why we put so much time and effort into planning exciting things for them to do...
