Young Peoples Committee WHO? WHAT? WHERE? WHY?

Chailey Youth Group values what young people have to say about their club.

The young people have formed a young peoples committee that the young people run in order to ensure what they would like and what they want CYG to be happens.

The young people who are sitting on the CYG young peoples committee are-

TOM- Tom joined CYG when he 13 years old and has been a valued member of the group. He has taken part in all the CYG has offered and is a great advocat for new members and other young people who want to know what CYG is all about.

JADE- Jade joined CYG a few years ago when she was 11. She originally came along as a young person and took part in acitivities, outings and came away on the caming weekend a few times. She know regularly attends to help run the tuck shop alongside Sophie.

SOPHIE - Sophie is an active member of the CYG committee and she puts allot of enthusiasm into what she believes is right and voices what the young people want to make CYG a better place for all.

 By joining the young peoples committee they will have opportunities to make descisions, help apply for funding and ensure that the group is meeting their needs. We want young people to have a voice and feel that their ideas and thoughts have been heard.

If you want to join our young peoples committee all you have to do is make sure you can attend some short meetings every few months.
